What is Fluid Brass?
Fluid Brass is a cinematic brass shorts library made for Kontakt Player. Fluid Brass deeply samples brass instruments to provide composers with the means to create fluent and rapidly repeating patterns on brass without sacrificing realism.
Instruments included in the library are: 2 Trumpets, 2 Horns, 2 Tenor Trombones, 2 Bass Trombones and a Tuba. Each instrument is able to utilise a variety of mic positions as well as making use of our multispeed patch technology, with each instrument being recorded at 6 different speeds, which is triggered based on your playing speed to accomodate faster phrases.
Due to the depth Fluid Brass was sampled at, performances sound much more fluent and realistic as you are triggering samples actually based on the speed at which you are playing. Along with an impressive number of dynamic layers and round robins, this culminates perfectly, working well for both lead lines and chordal work, closing the technical gaps to create a seamless performance.
