What is Areia?
Areia is a cinematic string ensemble library made for Kontakt Player. Areia combines the most sought after features into one single product: detailed realism with expressive emotion and range for a lush Hollywood sound – all the way from sweeping and delicate lines to a monumental and aggressive string section.
Included in the library are: 16 Violins, 10 Violas, 6 Celli, 4 Double Basses as well as 2 pre-orchestrated ensembles and a full ensemble. Each contains long-establihed articulations, a variety of mic positions as well as including performance patches and industry-leading measured tremolo patches.
Areia is a powerful and intuitive instrument that provides you with a lot more than just the essentials for modern string writing, giving you stunning control and the true ability to sculpt and shape the sound to your liking.

Our libraries run in a third party sample player called Kontakt. Kontakt is a plugin, to load in your DAW. You can then load Areia within Kontakt.
